Admissions Process
Schedule a Tour
Book an in-person tour to visit the campus, meet staff, and experience the environment before moving forward with the enrollment process.
Attend the Tour
Attend your scheduled visit, observe classrooms and the daily flow, and receive a full enrollment packet with all required forms and next steps for applying.
Submit Application
Complete and submit the admission agreement with the registration fee to secure placement and officially begin your child’s enrollment process.
Parent Meets Teacher
Schedule and attend a brief orientation with teachers, share insights about your child, and submit remaining forms to support a smooth transition.
Enrollment Confirmation
Receive confirmation, finalize readiness, and your child begins attending, joining the program, and becoming part of the daily learning environment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the first step in the enrollment process?
The first step is scheduling an in-person tour. Tours are available by appointment and are typically held Monday through Friday at 4:30 PM.
How quickly can my child start?
Enrollment can begin in as little as four days.

How early should we enroll?
Enrolling as early as possible is recommended to help secure your preferred start date. Waitlists can occasionally extend beyond a year, and some families enroll many months in advance.
Does school begin only in the Fall?
No. Mentor Preschool operates year-round, and families may enroll at any time. Mid-month enrollment is also available, with tuition prorated accordingly.
Are families required to commit to a yearly contract?
No. Enrollment is month-to-month, with a minimum one-month commitment.
How do we withdraw from enrollment?
A two-week notice is required before withdrawal. Families may leave at any time without a long-term contractual commitment.
Schedule & Attendance
Is Mentor Preschool open year-round?
Yes. Mentor Preschool is open year-round and closes only on State and Federal holidays, including Good Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Can attendance schedules be changed?
Yes. Enrollment schedules may be adjusted as family needs change. Consistency is encouraged whenever possible, as predictable routines are often most beneficial for children.
Are extended vacations allowed?
Yes. Families may take vacations as needed. Tuition remains fixed monthly and is not reduced for absences or vacations.
Can children leave during the day for therapy or appointments and return afterward?
Yes. Families may drop off and pick up children multiple times throughout the day. Therapists may also visit the school to work with children on-site when appropriate.

Are meals included?
Yes. All meals are included.
What if my child has food allergies?
Children with food allergies are accommodated with allergen-free meal alternatives whenever needed.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Dietary accommodations are available for medical needs, religious practices, and personal preferences, including vegan meal options.
Tuition & Payments
Are discounts available?
Yes. Mentor Preschool offers several discount programs, including sibling and military discounts. Families are encouraged to ask for current options.

Are there fees in addition to tuition?
A one-time registration fee is required at enrollment. After that, families pay only monthly tuition with no recurring additional fees.
Family & Community
Do families need to be Christian to attend?
No. Mentor Preschool welcomes families of all faiths and backgrounds. Christian values help guide the school’s environment and approach to care, while the focus remains on serving families through respect, compassion, and community.
Are parents allowed to visit during the day?
Yes. Families are welcome to remain connected and involved throughout the day. During adjustment periods, teachers may occasionally recommend shorter visits to help children transition more comfortably.
Are volunteer hours required from parents?
No. Volunteer work or parent participation hours are not required.
My child does not speak English. Is that okay?
Yes. Young children naturally absorb language through immersion and interaction. Staff work closely with families to help children feel comfortable, understood, and supported.
Care & Development
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
No. Potty training support is included and considered part of a child’s developmental learning experience.
What is the youngest age accepted?
Mentor Preschool accepts children beginning at 18 months old.
Do you accept children with special needs?
At this time, Mentor Preschool is not equipped to provide specialized support services for children with significant special needs. Families are welcome to contact the school directly to discuss individual circumstances.
